Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 July 2026. This is an English courtesy translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Autonomo Pilot (the "Service"), available at app.autonomo-pilot.com, operated by Liam Cordrey, self-employed professional, NIF Y7966498W, Andasol Business Center, Avenida Andasol, 29604 Marbella, Málaga, Spain, email [email protected] (the "Operator"). By using the Service you accept these Terms.

1. What the Service is — and what it is not

Autonomo Pilot helps self-employed workers (autónomos) in Spain organise bank-statement data: importing statement exports, categorising transactions, and producing estimates (such as a shadow Modelo 130 calculation or an annual income-tax estimate) and documentation packs for the user's own tax advisor.

The Service is an estimation and organisation tool only. It:

  • does not provide tax, legal, accounting, financial or investment advice;
  • does not file anything with the AEAT or any other authority;
  • does not issue, number or transmit invoices;
  • produces figures that are estimates for cross-checking only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate for your circumstances. Your tax advisor's filings and the tax authority's determinations are the only authoritative figures. Always confirm with your advisor before acting on any figure shown by the Service.

2. Access and accounts

The Service is currently in early access by invitation, free of charge. Access is granted per email address; your email address identifies your account and your data is accessible only to that identity. You are responsible for keeping control of the email account you use to sign in.

A public demonstration at demo.autonomo-pilot.com uses fictional data in temporary sandboxes deleted after 48 hours; nothing in the demo is real financial data and no account is created.

3. Your data

  • Your data remains yours. Bank-statement data, transactions, categories and files you upload belong to you. You grant the Operator only the rights needed to store and process them for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.
  • You can export your data at any time (JSON backup and CSV/XLSX exports in the app) and delete your account data irreversibly at any time (Settings → Backup → Danger zone).
  • The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you upload and for having the right to upload it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to access other users' data or the Service's infrastructure; probe, disable or overload the Service; upload malicious content; use the Service for unlawful purposes; or resell access without written agreement.

5. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided on reasonable-efforts availability, without a guaranteed service level during early access. Features may evolve; the Operator will not remove your ability to export your data. The Operator may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of profit, or tax outcomes — including penalties, surcharges or interest arising from filings made or not made based on the Service's estimates (see Section 1: estimates are not advice).

To the extent permitted by law, the Operator's total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) €100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Spanish law (including wilful misconduct or gross negligence), nor the mandatory rights of consumers.

7. Subscriptions (not yet in force — this section takes effect when paid subscriptions launch)

When the Service becomes paid, the following will apply and will be presented again at checkout:

  • Prices will be shown VAT included before you commit to any payment, with monthly and/or annual billing options and any free-trial period stated clearly.
  • Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. If you request that the digital service begin during the withdrawal period, you will be asked for express consent and acknowledgement that once the service has been fully provided (or, for continuous services, on the terms stated at checkout) the right of withdrawal is affected accordingly.
  • Cancellation: you may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the paid period, through the app or the payment provider's customer portal. Cancellation is no harder than sign-up.
  • Lapsed subscription: if a subscription ends or payment fails, your account enters read-only and export-only mode after a grace period — you will never be locked away from exporting your own data. Data is deleted only by your own action or under the retention limits described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email with reasonable notice before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and export your data.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent Spanish courts; where you act as a consumer resident in the EU, you retain any mandatory rights and forums of your country of residence. You can also contact [email protected] to resolve any complaint directly — answered within a reasonable time and in any case within one month.
